Off The Hook is a youth engagement project developed by The Met Police in partnership with GOAL Charity & QCCA which aims to give young people the chance to get involved in something positive and meaningful in a safe environment.
Daniel Dailey (@daileyfit247 & https://www.daileyfit.co.uk/) runs the initial half of the session and takes the youngsters through boxing training and fitness and then each week a guest comes in to raise awareness, educate or inspire the young people on a variety of topics.
So when I was asked to come down to speak at one of the sessions I didn’t hesitate in saying yes. This is not only because I know all too well the power of sport and the positive impact it has had on my life; but because I remember how significant it was to have a Youth Club and activities to do in a safe environment during my childhood.
Here I am speaking about the project after delivering my presentation to the young people and staff 🙂

I look forward to collaborating with Off The Hook again in the near future 🙂
